We are currently searching for a BIM Coordinator to support a critical role in the design and coordination of commercial HVAC, duct, plumbing, pipefitting, and mechanical systems. This position requires extensive Revit experience and a strong background in 3D modeling, clash detection, and coordination to ensure the seamless integration of mechanical systems into commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a commercial mechanical, electrical contracting, general contracting, or architectural setting.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Three or more years of experience in a commercial setting working with MEP contractors, general contractors or engineering firms.
- Minimum of 3 years 3D modeling experience
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Excel and Bluebeam
- Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, fabrication detailing, and MEP coordination.
- Knowledge of industry BIM standards, LOD (Level of Development) requirements, and fabrication processes
- Understanding of fabrication, field installation, and prefabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, engineers, and field teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP, BIM 360, and other relevant software is a plus.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed 3D models in Revit for commercial mechanical systems, including HVAC ductwork, plumbing, and piping.
- Collaborate with MEP engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure accurate BIM coordination and constructability.
- Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and coordinate with other trades to resolve conflicts before installation.
- Assist in modeling, detailing, and prefabrication processes to enhance project efficiency and reduce field conflicts.
- Generate and maintain accurate shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built models.
- Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to integrate mechanical systems effectively.
- Support project teams with BIM workflows, standards, and best practices to improve coordination and efficiency.
- Work closely with field personnel to ensure models reflect real-world constructability.
- Maintain BIM execution plans and ensure adherence to project-specific BIM standards and protocols.
