We're currently searching for an ambitious and energetic BAS/Controls Department Manager to oversee our growing team. This role will be responsible for the growth and development of the building automation group with the primary function of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the controls team. In addition, this position must be forward thinking to execute the business strategy at a high level for long term, sustainable growth of the building automation business within HB McClure Company. The BAS Controls Manager will also develop and manage a profit and loss statement for the building automation business as an eventual standalone department of the overall organization. The candidate must be growth oriented, a team player and work well with other departments in the organization

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directly manage the Operations staff, employee development and training
• Partner with Account Managers and Sales team on business development and customer satisfaction
• Oversee BAS sales and estimating
• Execute project contracts and sub-contractor agreements
• Manage job costs and profitability and budgets

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• At least 3-5 years of management experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or business development within the HVAC/BAS industry with knowledge of the construction or mechanical trade industry
• Strong knowledge of business development and sales growth
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Sharp negotiation and networking skills
• Ability to build and foster trusted relationships with stakeholders
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Enthusiasm for the company and the ability to communicate the real value proposition of HB McClure
• Successful criminal background and drug screenings
• Valid PA driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
